My awesome hosts told me about their own family, about the history of the embassy, about the history of Aboriginal people, how they were treated by white people. I learned also, that Aboriginal people are still not treated equally. And many more interesting things.
The embassy has been established on 26 January 1972 by four Aboriginal men (Michael Anderson, Billy Craigie, Tony Coorey and Bertie Williams). I learned, that the embassy is kind of protest, which started on the founding day of the embassy.
