Kurt Diemberger, a famous mountaineer, gave a talk at the Bergfilmfestival "Abenteuer Berg - Abenteuer Film" in Salzburg.
Kurt Diemberger is one of only two mountaineers who have made the first ascents on two mountains over 8.000 metres. These summits were the Broad Peak in 1957 and the Dhaulagiri in 1960.
The second mountaineer, who has made the first ascents on two mountains over 8.000 metres was Hermann Buhl.
Both mountaineers are/were (Hermann Buhl died in 1957) Austrians.
